This document is for an older version of Modelplane.
This document applies to Modelplane v0.2 and not to the latest release v0.3.
Modelplane’s API is a set of Kubernetes custom resources. Each type below has its own page with the full specification and status schema, a runnable example, and fields you can link to directly. For release history, see the GitHub releases page .
Platform
Types platform engineers author to provision GPU clusters and define the hardware classes models run on.
Models
Types ML teams author to deploy models, register endpoints, and expose them behind a unified, OpenAI-compatible URL.
Composed
Resources Modelplane composes and manages for you. You don't author these directly; they're created when you deploy models and register clusters.
